What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine which was first used in China some 3000 years ago. It was regarded as a complete system of medicine, and used to treat a wide variety of conditions, as well as restoring health and general wellbeing in individuals.

Needles are inserted into carefully chosen points just under the surface of the skin. The needles are made of stainless steel and are discarded after single usage, thus eliminating the risk of passing on viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis.
